2007
was another great year for Instant Party DJ & Karaoke, as we enlivened
restaurants, ballrooms, picnics, and weddings – both indoor and
outdoor, and not a few private parties all over Southern Maryland. In
February, we created our special DJ-Fridays at The Crooked I in Chesapeake
Beach and Saturdays at Isaac’s in Solomons to capacity crowds
throughout the summer. In May, we began our second year of Fridays out
on the patio at Uno’s Chicago Grill in Waldorf, and later in the
year we did a stint at Martini’s Lounge in White Plains.
In September, we took great karaoke to the Prince George’s County
Fair, Maryland’s oldest county fair in Upper Marlboro. The exhilarating
three day contest ended with a talented performer winning $1,000.00
for his strong, exciting rendition of Al Green’s “Let’s
Stay Together.” He really “wowed “em!
Once again we provided musical reinforcement for the Naval Criminal
Investigative Service’s (NCIS – like the TV show) Annual
Karaoke Contest to benefit the Combined Federal campaign, and we also
provided music for St. John the Evangelist church’s Annual Bull
Roast.
We ended the year with some fantastic holiday parties at the Washington
Navy Yard and a number of upscale hotels throughout the area. Of special
note was the boisterous employee holiday party for Isaac’s Restaurant
and the Holiday Inn Select in Solomons. On New Year’s Eve, we
were one of the three entertainment choices at the same venue, and
by the end of the evening, mostly everyone from the other rooms was
in Isaac’s, dancing in the New Year with … (who else)

As our service grows, we've added great new DJ talent. We salute DJ
K-Bone, Snowman, and the team of DJ Angel & DJ Steve.
They are all developing as great show leaders and entertainment managers.
You guys are the best!
Of course we could never have carried off these events without the
proper equipment . We added a ton of new equipment to ensure there
will always be a backup. In addition, we’ve beefed up our catalog
with over 5,000 more song selections -regular and karaoke- to our
lineup! Our audiences can now wax rhapsodic over 10,000 karaoke selections,
with more added every month.
2008
promises to be another busy year as we head into our second year at
Isaac’s Lounge in Solomons, Maryland. As the days warm up, we
are ready to begin our third year performing on the patio at Uno Chicago
in Waldorf, Maryland.
Of course we have also done some great parties, and a wedding too! One
of our most memorable events was the Associated Builders and Contractors,
Inc. Chesapeake Chapter’s 2008 Bull and Oyster Roast last March
at the Annapolis Armory. There was a fantastic turnout and frenetic
participation. There were bulls and oysters dancing together all over
the floor, not to mention what the builders and contractors were doing.
This year’s event promises to be even bigger and better …
and maybe weirder!
The remainder of 2008 promises to be busy with several weddings lined
up, including one in the beautiful horse country of Middleburg, Virginia
and another for special friends in sunny Florida! We also will be providing
great entertainment for the University of Maryland’s Munich Campus
Alumni Reunion in August.
Be sure to reserve September 4-7 for the Prince George’s County
Fair in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. This is Maryland’s oldest county
fair and one of the oldest county fair’s in the United States!
We will host our second Karaoke Contest with a dual grand prizes of
$1,000.00 each, as well as other great cash prizes! To encourage younger
singers, there will be a special competition just for them . Even if
you can’t sing a lick, you’ll want to check out the wonderful
talents of old and young alike, as well as all the other great entertainment
options, rides, and food at the fair.
